Do you know a college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a public service career in government accountability? If so, please encourage them to apply for the AGA VA Peninsula Government Accountability Scholarship. Individuals can apply through the Hampton Roads Community Foundation between December 1, 2023 and March 1, 2024. The scholarship amount varies based upon market conditions, but it is expected to be approximately $1,000.00 and renewable.
Scholarship Criteria
The scholarship is aimed at college juniors, seniors, or graduate students from Hampton Roads, Eastern Shore of Virigina, the Middle Peninsula, and/or Northern Neck who have at least a 3.0 GPA, have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a public service career in government financial management and accountability, and have declared a major in a relevant field.
Preference shall be given to students attending universities in the Hampton Roads area.
