Dear AGA Los Angeles Members and Friends,

Welcome to a new and exciting program year for the AGA Los Angeles Chapter! I am truly honored to serve as your Chapter President for 2025–2026 and to lead a dynamic team of dedicated professionals committed to advancing accountability, transparency, and excellence in government financial management.

As we begin this new chapter, our focus will be on rebuilding, reengaging, and reimagining what it means to be part of AGA Los Angeles. Whether you are a longtime member, a returning supporter, or a brand-new participant, we want to ensure you find value in your membership, inspiration in your network, and opportunity in every event we host.

Our Goals for This Year:

• Professional Development: We are planning impactful training events offering CPEs on ethics, internal controls, fraud prevention, data analytics, and leadership.
• Career Growth and Certification Support: We will provide resources and sessions to support your pursuit of the CGFM and other credentials.
• Student and Early Career Engagement: Through mentoring, outreach, and student-centered programs, we aim to grow the next generation of public sector leaders.
• Partnerships and Community Impact: We are strengthening ties with local agencies, universities, and other professional organizations to expand our reach and relevance.

We recognize the unique challenges our members face in the evolving landscape of public service, and we are committed to providing the tools, training, and community to help you thrive.
