PDT 2025
Even though PDT 2025 was virtual this year, we still received several chapter awards! The awards themselves were mailed to us & we were able to present them officially at our August 1, 2025 meeting.
We were once again ecognized with an Achievements in Chapter Excellence GOLD Award - Thanks to our Chapter President, Julio Elizondo, Jr., for leading us on that journey!
And Jean Morris was recognized as our Volunteer of the Year for her work reviewing last year's financial statements and stepping up to the plate and arranging for the majority of our speakers.
Gwendolyn Sewell, our Membership Chair, can be proud of our Overall Membership Growth Award for Group E chapters (those with less than 50 people).
And lastly, Alice Hufnagle accepted the Chapter Communications Award for Group E chapters - although everyone has been wonderfully supportive in reaching out & advertising our chapter!

PDT 2024
Our chapter is proud to report that we were recognized with an Achievements in Chapter Excellence GOLD Award at the July 2024 Professional Development Training for our accomplishments!
Our President-Elect, Julio C. Elizondo, Jr, also received the Volunteer-of-the-Year Award at the 2024 Denver PDT!
In addition, Membership Growth Starting out with only 27 members (one of whom had passed away in 2015), we boasted 43 members by June 2024! During the September – February Membership Campaign, we exceeded our 10% goal – we grew 60%! Thanks to Gwendolyn Sewell, our Membership Chair!
